If you use skin to find all your best colors, why were nude shades not available to every season? After thousands of hours of research and testing we cracked the color code. You see you can wear EVERY color, but you need the right undertone. For 29 years we've done custom makeup, but after we started custom color analysis, our makeup improved exponentially. The science of color combined with the art of being you.

What is included in our full custom color analysis

The in person color draping process
Color draping with a certified expert of the ebhues system includes 144 individual test boards (4 main undertone groups in each value light, medium, deep, sometimes vivid 12+ total) along with true neutral value range and metals. You also get a color guide that goes over information discussed in your draping to help retain what you learn in the draping experience.
What you take home
36 handmade shopping swatches are included. We pick these together and they are customized based on your drape results, personality, and style. Each swatch is created with hand-mixed paint, verified by ebhues trained staff before application. The swatch has a code located on the back that is used to give a scientific definition for that particular color and can be used on our website to locate makeup colors that match that swatch.
Makeup to harmonize
After your drape we apply makeup with an included makeup lesson. Our makeup is also custom for your undertones, skin type, personality, routine goals, and style. We create a list that will continue to expand with each color creation that is verified by ebhues. You can purchase the makeup that day, or buy it at another time. All formulas are recorded along with notes.

I've owned eleablake, for over 27 years. I named my company after my twin daughters and began as a skincare-oriented, custom makeup company after my experience of volunteering with burn victims. As a Colorologist, I believe in the science of color and the art of using it. I put individuals first, and craft my cosmetics to represent all skin tones and personalities. My color system gives people the tools to shop color confidently for life whether it be clothing, interiors, or cosmetics. I published my first book, Find Your Strength: a Love Letter to Orange in May 2023. My mission in life is to advocate for a better future for women and animals. My hobbies include eating delicious food, spending time with my husband gardening, rescuing dogs in danger, and reading cheesy books.

I specialize in natural beauty. I am equally at peace sipping afternoon tea in a castle or backpacking. My makeup preference is quick, easy, and can pass the 'from grunge to gorge' test. My goal is effortless looking beauty (even if some days seem to require a bit more effort). My home reflects my inner self, while my wardrobe reflects my practical nature. I was raised on color, so I prioritize it in fashion, interiors, and makeup. As a UT trained designer, I frame everything as a problem with a solution that has to be found. Let me help nourish your soul through color whether through makeup or the color analysis.
