Brush Tips

  • “Fluffier Brushes” give lighter looks.

  • Dense, tighter, closer together bristles, pick up and deposit more pigment. Go light, check it out, then, add to when using a denser brush bristle.

  • Angled brushes offer control for specific contouring and blending. Tight spots love an angled brush.

  • Pointy tips, draw thin, precise lip and eye lines.

  • Oval cut tips are best for precision specific applications.

  • Blunt cut with rounded tips create overall coverage.

Care and Handling

  • A tidy clean brush = best and cleanest application.

  • Weekly cleaning is suggested. Twice per month is the minimum.

  • Always clean before using another color or product.

  • All cleansers are not created equal. If you use a brush cleaner, make sure that it is not harmful to the bristles, handle, or glue of the brush.

  • Wet brush; sweep bristles back and forth, then circular on a dry paper or cloth towel; rinse well; squeeze out excess water or cleaner.

  • Never dry brushes upright. The cleaner seeps into the base and weakens the glue.

  • Store brushes in a protected case to keep them from fraying.
